Dallab DP900 reset

It is very important to keep your battery charged. If the DP900 runs completely out of power, any new programs you have installed as well as all personal data on it will be lost. When battery power has reached a critically low point, your DP900 shut down and you will no longer be able to operate it without plugging it into a power socket via the Y-cable or cradle. A safety feature designed into the DP900 will maintain data on the device for roughly 72 hours after power has reached this threshold level. When this occurs, you must recharge your DP900 within 72 hours to preserve user data and any programs other than those provided as defaults.

Dopod D810 hard reset

Resetting Your Pocket PC Phone

Occasionally, you may need to reset your device. A normal (or soft) reset of your device clears all active program memory and shuts down all active programs. This can be useful when your device is running slower than normal, or a program is not performing properly. A soft reset is also necessary after the installation of some programs. If a soft reset is performed when programs are running, unsaved work will be lost. You can also perform a hard reset (also known as a full reset). A hard reset should be performed only if a normal reset does not solve a system problem. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default settings — the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. Any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on your device will be lost. Only Windows Mobile software and other pre-installed programs will remain.

To perform a Dopod D810 CHT 9100 soft reset

Resetting the Dopod 700

You can perform a soft reset or a full reset. During a soft reset, the device is restarted and
only some data in opened programs may be lost. However, a full reset turns the battery off,
returns the device to its original factory settings, and deletes all programs, files, contacts and
other information you have saved to the device. Therefore, it is extremely important to back up
data to a storage card or your computer on a regular basis in the event that a full reset has to
be performed.

To perform a soft reset:

If your Dopod 700 responds slowly, stops responding, or freezes, you can soft reset it.
A soft reset causes the Dopod 700 to restart and re-adjust memory allocation. Unsaved
data in any opened applications may be lost. Use the stylus to press and hold the Reset button,
as shown bellow.
