It
is very important to keep your battery charged. If the DP900 runs
completely out of power, any new programs you have installed as well as
all personal data on it will be lost. When battery power has reached a
critically low point, your DP900 shut down and you will no longer be
able to operate it without plugging it into a power socket via the
Y-cable or cradle. A safety feature designed into the DP900 will
maintain data on the device for roughly 72 hours after power has
reached this threshold level. When this occurs, you must recharge your
DP900 within 72 hours to preserve user data and any programs other than
those provided as defaults.
