Resetting to Factory Defaults
When strange encoding appears on the screen, restore all setting to factory default to acquire fresh information from the satellites and clear the
previous, obsolete data from the memory.
To reset all settings to factory defaults:
1. Press the Menu button twice to display the main menu.
2. Scroll to Satellite and press OK to enter the satellite page.
3. Press and hold Menu and OK buttons for three seconds. A warning message appears to confirm resetting to factory defaults.
4. Press OK to confirm.
