RESETTING THE Audiovox 8930 phone
To perform an Audiovox 8930 hard reset
RESET PHONE
Resetting the phone restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings. The
internal Phone Book, Call History, Scheduler, and Messaging are unaffected.
1. Press LEFT SOFT key [MENU] 9, 6 then enter “Password”.
2. Press 8.
3. Read the message (It’ll be erase all data on your phone. Reset Phone?) then press [YES] Left SOFT key or [NO] Right SOFT key.
When you select “Yes” you will see “Reset Phone! Your Phone will reboot now” on the display and your cellular
telephone will reset all settings to the factory defaults.
NOTE: The default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
NOTE: As the data cannot be retrieved, the warning shall be marked.
