1. Power off the phone
2. Press and keep pressed Volume UP and HOME and press Power for about 2-3 seconds
3. Use Volume key to move to "WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET"
4. Confirm option pressing BACK button
5. Move to "Yes --delete all data" and confirm pressing BACK button
6. After operation press Back button once again to restart phone.

RESETTING THE Medion PNA 100

There are two options for resetting the Pocket PC.
SOFT-RESET
This option restarts the Pocket PC, without reinstallation being necessary. A soft-reset is often used in order to reorganize the
memory. In doing so all programs that are running are interrupted and the working memory is reinitialized.
Choose this option if your Pocket PC is not responding or working properly.

Perform the soft-reset as follows:

1. If possible save the files that your Pocket PC has just been processing.
2. Press the tip of the stylus into the soft-reset switch opening.
After a few seconds the Pocket PC displays the start screen.
Your configuration and your saved files will not be deleted.

Warning: A hard-reset deletes all data on your Pocket PC and causes a new initial installation.
It is not necessary to install the software on your synchronisation computer again, however.
Perform the hard-reset as follows:
1. If possible save all the files needed from your Pocket PC. To do this use the programs bundled with the Pocket PC.
2. Hold down the On/Off switch and carry out a soft-reset as described above.

Hold down the On/Off switch and carry out a soft-reset as described above.

To turn ON Medion PPC 100 after hard reset or the first time
1. Remove the stylus from the holder and turn the cap as shown in the diagram.
2. Use the small point on the inside of the cap to turn the power switch to the ON position.
• The brand logo appears and after 30 seconds the Pocket PC displays the Windows welcome screen.
3. Screw the cap back onto the stylus.
4. Tap on the screen once with the stylus and follow the instructions that appear.
• Settings that you now make can be altered later.
• Warning: Always leave the power switch in the ON position. If the switch is placed in the OFF position, all data will be lost from your Pocket PC and you will need to perform the initial setup again.

RESETTING THE Medion 200 POCKET PC

There are two options for resetting the Pocket PC. SOFT-RESET This option restarts the Pocket PC, without reinstallation being necessary. A soft-reset is often used in order to reorganize the memory. In doing so all programs that are running are interrupted and the working memory is reinitialized. Choose this option if your Pocket PC is not responding or working properly.

Perform the soft-reset as follows:

Press Reset Button. This will Restart your Pocket PC. (Soft-Reset)

CAUTION: Always leave the backup battery switch in the ON position unless you need to perform a hard reset. A
hard reset will cause the memory of your Pocket PC to be cleared.

2. Slide the battery lock to the unlock position (1) and then open the battery door (2). Turn the backup battery switch in the OFF position.

3. Insert the projected parts of the battery into the battery compartment (3) and then fit the battery into place (4).
3. The backup battery switch should be set to the ON (right) position for normal operation.
Pull out the stylus and use it to slide the battery switch to the ON (right) position.

4. Replace the battery door and slide the battery lock to the lock position.
