Android 4.4.2, KitKat, is the latest release of the Android platform. Incorporated a new version of Google Hangouts that supports integrated SMS/MMS messaging. Hangouts can be set as the default SMS app under Settings > Wireless > Default SMS app.

Install OTA update zip (quick method):

Copy the file to the root of the internal memory. (Where there files Android, DCIM, etc …)
Go to Settings, then System Updates. The application will offer you the update. Select “Copy.” Wait one minute for the copy of the file.
The application will then prompt you to install the update now or later. Choose “Install Now.”
The phone will turn off and install the update. The installation takes about 5-10 minutes.
